One Monocular, Three Hunting Setups

The M6 Pro stood out because the hunter can change lenses without sending the device to a service centre. Felix used the 25 mm lens for a wider field of view in woodland and while stalking, then moved to 35 or 50 mm as summer hunting shifted toward larger fields and longer observation distances.

In his experience, changing a lens took less than a minute and required no tools. That gave the interchangeable-lens concept practical value: one compact handheld could replace several devices across seasons and terrain.

Build, Controls and Image Quality

The review describes the magnesium housing and controls as robust and premium. A three-position Off, Standby and On switch provides clear tactile feedback, while three separated top buttons remain easy to identify in darkness or with gloves.

Image quality remained strong in normal conditions and also in rain or fog. Compared directly with Felix’s 640-sensor HIKMICRO devices, the M6 Pro stayed competitive, with only small differences appearing in more difficult weather.

Verdict and Trade-offs

Felix’s overall verdict is strongly positive: he praises the build quality, image performance, rangefinder and the flexibility of the interchangeable lenses. Standard 18650 batteries, media playback, Wi-Fi connection to the ZEN LINK app and a warranty of up to three and a half years add practical value.

The review also names two limitations. The M6 Pro is not shutterless, so calibration interruptions remain, and focusing is not as easy to operate one-handed as on devices with a focus wheel near the diopter control.
